Classes
Early Reading
There are three Early Reading courses:
Level One includes sound and letter recognition
Level Two includes building words and begins to look farther than the single letter sounds (th, sh, ch, oo, ai, etc.)
Level Three includes sentence building and writing!
Early Math
The Montessori math avenue (curriculum) starts off recognizing numbers one through ten. Similar to the reading classes math has three levels starting with numbers 1 -10. After than we move to the decimal system and start adding, multiplying, subtracting, and dividing! (Yes your child can do all four operations!). After working with numbers 1 - 10 and decimals- level three highlights teens and tens (11-19 & 10-100)
Music
The music course includes learning simple music theory, playing the bells, and composing music.
This course is beautiful interactive, and age appropriate for children 3.5 to 10
We will have opportunity to play handbells, desk bells, montessori bells, and the glockenspiel (depending on what materials you purchase)
Culture & Science
The culture and science course will exclude mini courses for science experiments, geographical understanding, and cultural lessons.
